We strive to improve the quality of life for children, teens and adults by incorporating equine and the farm environment to treatment, classes and camps.
Hoofprints to Heal Therapy is a Non-Profit organization that provides Occupational Therapy services incorporating Hippotherapy and Adaptive/Therapeutic Riding to children, adolescents, and/or adults. Our therapists are AED/CPR Certified.
At Hoofprints to Heal Therapy we maintain a small client base to ensure quality care where clients are not just a number. We focus on forming a personal relationship with the clients and their family in order to learn the client's individual needs. This allows us to provide sessions custom detailed to their needs while giving just the right amount of challenge for them to meet their goals. We also include parent education because we believe that treatment is not limited to the work in a session, but success happens at home too!
Hippotherapy is not a horseback riding lesson. It is a treatment strategy used within an Occupational Therapy session, approved by a physician and implemented by a team that includes a licensed, credentialed therapist, a competent horse handler and a specially screened and trained therapy horse. The goal is to improve neurological functioning and cognition, body movement, organization and attention levels to improve function throughout daily activities.
Adapted recreational horse back riding lessons adapted to individuals with disabilities. These lessons are completed by a therapeutic horseback riding instructor in conjunction with volunteers.

She has also completed both level 1 & level 2 certification course through American Hippotherapy Association of which she is a member, and is a P.A.T.H. professional member.
Combining her passion for animals and kids, in July 2020 Julianne founded Hoofprints to Heal Therapy providing a fun response to traditional OT sessions and incorporating equine in treatment strategies.
My favorite thing about working with kiddos is how creative I can get in our sessions. I love being able to get crafty and think outside of the box to find fun ways to accomplish goals.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my dog on the hiking trails. I spend a lot of my time with my dog; we are even training to compete in agility competitions. One day I would like to get him certified as a therapy animal and use him in treatment sessions.

Volunteering and working at Hoofprints to Heal has been a blessing. Having the opportunity to work with and learn from Julianne is an awesome experience and being even a small part of helping her clients reach their goals is something that I hold dear to my heart. When you love what you do, it's not really work. The beauty of the property, getting to spend time with the animals, and the opportunity to help others is priceless! The physical workout here is much more fun than going to a gym too! (grin)
I have worked with kids my entire life. I also have a degree in Photography and I am a retired Preschool teacher. I help H2H with marketing, fundraising and planning activities.
Volunteering at Hoofprints to Heal has been the most wonderful learning experience I’ve ever had. The kiddos never fail to put a smile on your face and working with horses is a fun and enjoyable experience every time. I’ve had a great time learning from Julianne and made dozens of important, funny, and lasting memories here!

Abby is a registered spotted draft horse; mainly a Percheron/Quarter horse mix. Coming from Georgia, she showed as an obstacle horse and was a pleasure riding horse. After coming to Florida she was trained in driving as well as therapy. Abby is approximately 17 years old and stands at around 15.3 hands.
Clark is our 3 year old, 15 hands high, gelding Percheron/Quarter horse mix. Coming from Minnesota he is trained to ride and drive. He is one of the most gentle horses you'll ever meet and has an old soul.
Deacon is our 19/20 year old Palomino quarter horse gelding now used for ground therapy. He's like a puppy dog and follows us around, hanging out with caregivers and anyone who he can find to follow and share space with. He the gentlest sweet horse.
Fudge is a gelding pony standing at only about 13.2 hands and is around 14 years old. He has a spunky, goofy personality, but also has moments he enjoys cuddles.
Doug is a 16 year old registered Belgian gelding at about 16 hands tall. Originally from Ohio and relocated to North Florida. He rides and drives, and really enjoys being a cow horse. He loves chasing cows and dreams of being a rodeo horse one day.
